Internet Resources for Physical Rehabilitation
The Internet is becoming a valuable storehouse of information related to physical rehabilitation. This Web page will describe and/or link you to sites that can let you perform a literature search, link to an email list, read on-line journals, find out what other facilities are doing, etc. This page only scratches the surface of the information available over the Internet - hopefully the links on this Web page will give you a good starting point.
On-Line Literature Searches
These links will help you find journal or magazine articles related to a specific topic. Some of these sites give abstracts of the article that can be read on-line.

- Healthworks Online - A UK site with free Medline searches, after you register
- Internet Grateful Med & PubMed - US National Library of Medicine search site
- Medscape - After the free registration process, you get free Medline searches, articles, and medical news
- MedPulse - A weekly e-mail newsletter informing registered members of new content posted on Medscape during the preceding week
On-Line Journals
Many associations are providing limited editions of their print journals on the Internet. In some cases, the on-line magazine (Ezine) was created to exist only on the Web.

Email Lists
The following links will explain how to subscribe to an email list. Once you have subscribed, any email that has been sent to the "listserver" computer will be automatically sent to you. By sending email to the listserver, you are automatically sending email to everyone else on the email list (usually thousands of people).
